People Love Us On Yelp – 2017 Award

We are very excited and grateful to again be awarded the “People Love Us On Yelp” Award. Some of my most wonderful clients have discovered and selected Silky Skin as a result of a Yelp search. Yelp has proven to be an invaluable resource for discovering quality businesses without the disappointment of trial and error. For both consumers and business owners, this connection is convenient and time-saving. Many of my clients have offered to post a Yelp review for Silky Skin but only a small number actually have. I understand that everyone is busy and have far more important things to do than write a business review, but this simple gesture helps other consumers and allows Silky Skin to minimize marketing expenses, thus minimizing the need to raise service prices.

Yelp disapproves of business owners incentivizing customers with discounts and other perks for writing review on its site. This is designed to help guarantee reviewer authenticity, thus, helping to maintain the quality of Yelp as a legitimate consumer search tool. I support this position, as I’m sure you would too.

If you’re new to Yelp then please visit https://www.yelp.com, register, and begin evaluating different businesses you’ve tried or use regularly. Please know that Yelp often declines to post reviews by first-time Yelpers until they have submitted several of them. This discourages one-off “paid to yelp” submissions. They also sometimes ignore reviews that appear to have been written by marketing experts, so, your so polished writing skills won’t be needed. If your review does not appear on my list after posting it I do apologize for the omission.
